Kelly Reilly, known for her role as the fiery Beth Dutton, updated a post on her Instagram page paying tribute to her co-stars and thanking creator Taylor Sheridan for taking a chance on her.

Alongside a clip of the final episodes, Kelly penned: “Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with. The support from the crew and the trust and dedication of the cast.

“The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit the past 7 years. It changed me. It lit me up. It challenged me in every way possible and I will forever be grateful for it.

“For Taylor Sheridan who took a chance on me and continued to write her in ways I got to feel on fire as an actor.”

She added: “Thank you the audience we made it for, for being on this journey with us.”

Unsurprisingly fans rushed to comment on the post but it was Finn Little’s, who starred as Carter in the franchise, sweet post that caught attention.

He penned a heartfelt tribute: “Thank you Momma. @mzkellyreilly. It was a pleasure. x.”

The comment racked up over 1,300 likes and a reply from Kelly: “You and I just beginning xx love you.”

Fortunately for fans of the series, Kelly’s character Beth and husband Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser) will be returning in a spin-off.

When a fan asked: “So is the rumor in the UK that you and Rip are making a spinoff not true! Whatever happens I’ve loved every second of every episode in every season. You guys are all amazing!!” Kelly replied: “@kerrybroady true,” with a white heart emoji.

And in even more Yellowstone news, prequel 1923 will be back on screens too.

However as the teaser for the series dropped, fans noticed a key character was missing. Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) is seen for a fraction of a second causing uproar as one fan posted on Reddit: “A disturbing lack of Alexandra in this teaser.

“Only the one brief shot of her running has me worried they’re going to kill her off as a way of sending Spencer off the deep end.”

Another complained: “The magnificent love story with Alex is my biggest reason for watching – I’m going to be very, very, sad if she’s been killed off. Alex is the kicker in a glass of champagne.”

1923 season 2 premieres Sunday, February 23 on Paramount+.
