Yellowstone’s next spin-off is eyeing some Hollywood A-listers to lead the main cast.

The fifth season of Taylor Sheridan’s mainline Paramount drama will finally come to an end this November after saying goodbye to leading man Kevin Costner.

All eyes will then be on the next chapter, which is finally coming to fruition and has been tentatively titled The Madison.

TVLine has now reported that Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer have almost signed deals to star in the series.

Plus, a former co-star of Meghan Markle, Suits favourite Patrick J Adams, is also being eyed for the main cast.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it’s rumoured to focus on wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn, who moves to Montana after the death of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.

Casting is still ongoing for a number of supporting roles, but The Good Doctor’s Beau Garrett is also reportedly circling a part.

Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey was previously rumoured to star, and it’s unknown if The Thing legend Kurt will be replacing him or playing an entirely different character.

Fans hopefully won’t have to wait quite as long for Yellowstone’s next iteration as the mammoth two-year hiatus between seasons 5a and 5b.

Production is expected to begin in Montana, New York and Texas later this month, and will premiere at some point in 2025.

Yellowstone season 5, part 2 premieres Sunday, November 10 on Paramount.
