Luke Grimes doesn’t only take the stage as an actor! The Yellowstone actor treated Stagecoach goers to a one-of-a-kind musical performance that left many country fans in awe.
The 39-year-old star, who plays hothead livestock commissioner, Kayce Dutton, started his Stagecoach set a touch early to get the party started. He kicked things off with his most popular song, “No Horse To Ride,” which has amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify. He went on to string and strum for 25 minutes, playing his new single, “Hold On,” in the process.
Wearing cowboy boots, blue jeans, a button-up camp shirt, dark sunglasses, and a cream-colored cowboy hat, Luke looked every bit the country heartthrob, and when he spoke on stage between songs, it only cemented his rising status. “Are you guys melting out there?” he asked the crowd. “Same here. Let’s melt together.”
When Luke posted a photo of his performance to Instagram, fans were quick to comment on how amazing he was during the show. This content is imported from instagram. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site.
“You were Awesome Luke!! My husband and I came early today to see you! I’m seven months pregnant and we’re naming her Kayce! So stoked we got to see you! Good Job up there,” one fan exclaimed. “You were so amazing—thank you for braving this insane heat and being out here!! You were so phenomenal!! Seriously killing it,” another fan raved.
Meanwhile, even actor James Marsden couldn’t help but fangirl over Luke’s stage presence. “This is fantastic,” he wrote in the comments.Luke isn’t the only Yellowstone cast member with a set of musical chops, though. His on-screen father, Kevin Costner (John Dutton), is a musician, as well. But that’s not all! Ryan Bingham (Walker) is a renowned multi-genre American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, and Lainey Wilson (Abby) is, well, Lainey Wilson.
