Yellowstone’s Mo is a fan-favourite, so much so that many hope to see a spin-off of his life story.
Mo (played by Mo Brings Plenty) is the driver and right-hand man of Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham), as well as a Tribal Police member.
He is a wise figure in the Yellowstone universe with only snippets shared of his personal life, including the traumatising incident which left him without a family.
When Mo was young, he and his mum were left stranded with their car at the roadside as they had run out of fuel.
His mother was offered a ride by a group of men, only to be murdered while little Mo was strapped in his car seat where he remained for three days until someone found him.
Paramount Network viewers are hoping to get more of an insight into Mo’s life in the future with a spin-off series.
Kicking off a Reddit thread, a user wrote: “I know that everyone is probably tired of spin-offs of Yellowstone but hear me out.
“I need Taylor Sheridan to create at least a three-part miniseries of our beloved Mo.
“I need to know what his childhood/upbringing was like, how he met Tom Rainwater, and how he became the badass Mo we love.”
Other Yellowstone fans jumped at the chance to agree with another commenting: “I would be more interested to see this than the other prequel shows. I’m kind of over the Dutton family.”
A third joked: “Mo has always been Mo. Even as a child he was Mo.
“He followed Rainwater around the schoolyard and gave advice and cleaned up ‘problems’.
“Mo is a force of nature, he has always been and will always be. He is Mo.”
“I support this wholeheartedly. I am fascinated by him and the relationship he has with American Indian mysticism and the relationship we have with nature… I would love to see this above all the others…”
“Mo is the most interesting character on the show. I would watch that character in anything,” another Reddit user began.
“Mo Brings Plenty is an excellent actor. I hope that he is aware that many NA out here are proud of the character, the actor and the man. He represents us with honor.”
While a fellow fan simply wrote: “I love the idea of a Mo spin-off, he is my favorite character!”
There has been no talk of a Mo spin-off just yet but Yellowstone mastermind Taylor Sheridan has been busy with a plethora of other shows.
Not only is the second half of season five still yet to air, Sheridan has been working on Mayor of Kingstown, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Special Ops: Lioness, Tulsa King, 6666 and 1924 just to name a few.
He is also planning on a new series called Landman which will star actress Demi Moore and has acquired rights to adapt Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker, who was the last leader of the Indian tribe the Comanches.
