TOM Selleck has stepped out looking unrecognizable in a casual ensemble with a bushy gray beard.
The iconic actor switched up his look months after CBS announced that Blue Bloods was canceled.
On Tuesday, Tom, 79, was seen in Thousand Oaks, California, wearing a baggy black T-shirt, navy blue button-down shirt, and black athletic shorts.
He wore black socks and sneakers on his feet, somewhat unkempt gray hair, and a bushy gray beard.
The Three Men and a Baby actor was spotted eating a McDonald’s burger before strolling across the parking lot.
Typically, Tom is clean-shaven with a large mustache and carefully styled hair.
His new look comes after CBS announced the end of Blue Bloods in May.
Tom has been clear about his unhappiness with the decision.
LISTEN UP
Before the network announced that the police drama, which was beloved by fans, had been canceled, the Magnum PI star discussed its renewal chances with CBS Sunday Morning.
“Well, that’s a good question,” he said at the time.
“I will continue to think that CBS will come to their senses.
“We’re the third-highest show in all of broadcast.”
Tom continued, “We’re winning the night. All the cast wants to come back.
“I can tell you this: We aren’t sliding off a cliff; we’re doing good shows.”
“And still holding out place. So I dunno. You tell me,” the actor went on.
The first half of Season 14 of Blue Bloods ended in May, with the second half coming this fall.
LINEUP CHANGES
CBS has made major changes to its lineup as its programming priorities shifted.
The network began focusing on a new crime drama, leading fans to believe Blue Bloods’ days were numbered.
In early May, CBS ordered its first new show, Sheriff Country, for the 2025-2026 season, as reported by Deadline.
The show, a Fire Country spinoff, follows Deadpool star Morena Baccarin, 44, as she plays Sheriff Mickey Fox, the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone (Diane Farr).
Mickey investigates criminal activity in Edgewater, a small town.
Mickey was introduced in an April show called Alert the Sheriff.
Fans flocked to X, slamming the network for ordering the show over Blue Bloods.
“What is wrong with you CBS? Fire Country routinely gets lower ratings than #BlueBloods, yet you decide to end #BlueBloods, while doing a spin-off if Fire Country,” an angry viewer posted at the time.
