The Blue Bloods Fan-Favorite Character Will Not Be Returning For S14

Most of Blue Bloods’ characters will return in the new season, but some actors will leave the show after S13 – and we just saw them for the last time in the final series. Over the years, Blue Bloods has gathered a loyal fan base of people who are truly invested in the lives of their favorite characters and eagerly await new episodes.

This is a great achievement that many other shows can’t really boast: the Blue Bloods family includes more people than just the Reagans. Fans of the series have been anxiously awaiting news about S14 and they were happy to hear that despite the difficulties, Blue Bloods has been renewed for another season.

This cost the cast and crew 25% of their salaries, but since the show’s producers loved it as much as the viewers, they didn’t mind the cuts. Now that the series has officially been saved, it’s time to move on to specifics – and find out what to expect from the new installment.

”While we obviously can’t know if there will be an overarching plot and what it will be like, we are certain that the characters’ storylines will continue as usual… At least is for the characters that will return.”

The press release announcing Blue Bloods’ official renewal made it clear which members will be returning for S14 – and we can easily deduct which members won’t. From what we gathered, five actors will not return for the new season: Abigail Hawk, Dylan Walsh, Tony Terraciano, Steve Schirripa and Gregory Jbara.

1. Abigail Hawk (Abigail Baker)
2. Dylan Walsh (Mayor of Chase)
3. Tony Terraciano (Jack Reagan)
4. Steve Schirripa (Anthony Abetemarco)
5. Gregory Jbara (Deputy Commissioner Moore)

As you can see, although the majority of the cast reprized their roles in S14, we were dealt some devastating blows. Since Hawk isn’t on the cast list for the next season, we’re pretty sure we’ve lost Baker among the rest, and this is a big shame because she’s always been a beloved supporting character like most. And here we were hoping that she would finally get a decent storyline of her own in S14! RIP to the most expressive eyes of the show, folks. We will miss her.
