Hollywood star Kevin Costner is reportedly enjoying quality time with his friends as he celebrates his 70th birthday on Saturday, January 18. According to People, the actor is “in a good place and enjoying time with his family and friends,” a source revealed.
Costner was previously linked with the Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock, with sources suggesting that he has been trying to win her over. However, new reports reveal that his focus on loved ones does not include any romantic prospects.
And the actor is also not seeking any serious romance as of now. “He is not seriously involved with anyone and not necessarily looking for anything more than that right now,” the source told the outlet.
Costner had previously been married to model and handbag designer Christine Baumgartner. The couple was married nearly for 20 years and finalized their divorce in February 2024. The former couple shares three children — two sons and a daughter.

The source also told People that Kevin Costner is also spending a lot of time with his kids. The actor has seven children, including three with his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner. He also shares three children with his ex-wife, Cindy Silva, and a son from his brief relationship with Bridget Rooney.
“Kevin is cool, real, and in some ways old-school in his thinking,” the source said before adding, “He has a lot of interests and loves being busy when he is in that mode.”
Ahead of the new year, the actor Kevin Costner shared a rare glimpse into his family, sharing a picture with most of his kids as they celebrated Thanksgiving.
“Hoping you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the people you love most,” he said in the caption of the post. Costner further reflected on their memories throughout the year, saying, “At the top of my ‘grateful for’ list are the many really, really special memories I’ve gotten to make with my kids this year.”

Following his departure from the hit Western drama series Yellowstone, Costner released the first installment of his Horizon film series.
However, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 received a lukewarm response. The release of Chapter 2 of the film series, originally planned to follow shortly after, has been pushed to 2025, though the exact date remains unconfirmed.
