Although audiences were excited by the match, Ray and Will Estes were apprehensive about their love story. The costars were unsure how their characters’ stories would continue if they ended up together.

The characters married despite telling production that they did not want anything “mushy” between Jamie and Janko. Interestingly enough, Ray’s real-life husband played a part in her on-screen wedding.
The “Pretty Little Liars” actress’s husband, Landon Beard, attended Ray’s fitting for Janko’s wedding dress. Ray revealed in an interview that he shared his opinions on her character’s wedding look:

“[My husband] really did give his two cents. It was a collaboration.”

In the show, Janko wore a traditional-looking wedding dress, which was completely different from the dress Ray wore fur her wedding in 2015, which was pink, had a green muslin skirt and a separate fitted top.

Beard got his passion for music from his parents. His father was a producer and vocal contractor during the 70s and 80s, while his mother was a professional singer. At 5, he got his first session for Kodak and has continued to follow in his parents’ footsteps.

Fans can keep up to date with Beard’s events and music via his Instagram account. He also shares many glimpses into his life with Ray on his social media platform.

After six years of dating, Beard proposed to Ray on the cold walk around the Hudson River. Ray said that the couple began to cry when he took out the ring and admitted she had one regret, not wearing waterproof mascara.

Beard picked out a gorgeous pink gold ring, with help from Ray’s close friend “Workaholics” actress Jullian Bell, from jeweler designer Jeano Georgiano.

Five months later, the couple said “I do” during a relaxed and intimate ceremony officiated by their fathers. The wedding took place at Condor Nest Ranch in Pala, California.
