Kevin Costner has ignited speculation he is in a ‘new couple’ with former Today show anchor Hoda Kotb after the pair posed together at the Super Bowl 2025.

It was a big night out for the 70-year-old former Yellowstone actor, who initially delighted fans across the country after he was seen watching the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs with Pete Davidson.

But Kevin sent the internet into a further frenzy when Hoda, 60, shared a photo of herself standing next to the star in the Caesars Superdome stadium in New Orleans.

Captioning the picture, which was uploaded alongside a carousel of other snaps from the big game, she wrote: ‘Oh what funnnnn!!! #superbowl #nolastrong.’

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long before social media users speculated whether Kevin is Hoda’s new man.

Hoda’s former Today show colleague Savannah Guthrie, 53, cheekily helped provoke the romance rumors when she commented on the picture: ‘New couple alert.’

Former co-host Jenna Bush Hager, 43, added: ‘We have been waiting for this moment!’

The photo delighted many others too, with one gushing: ‘You and Kevin – now that’s a Super Bowl win!’

‘Ooh you look gooooood with Kevin! Just saying,’ observed another.

A third added: ‘I think Hoda Costner has a nice ring to it!’

Hoda is believed to be single after splitting from her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman.

The former couple share two adopted daughters Hope five, and Haley, eight, in November 2019.

In October, she revealed that she is open to dating again – and is even open to using dating apps – despite admitting she prefers to be set up by friends.

Meanwhile, Hollywood actor Kevin has been single since divorcing wife Christine Baumgartner, 50, with their separation finalized last February.

Kevin had been married to Christine for 18 years ad the pair share three children together, Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14.

He is also father to Annie, 40, Lily, 38, and Joe, 37, whom he shares with his ex-wife Cindy Silva. He also has son Liam, 28, with former partner Bridget Rooney.

Hoda and Kevin weren’t the only famous faces in the crowd at Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Actors Paul Rudd and Adam Sandler were spotted sitting in the same box as Sir Paul McCartney, while Bradley Cooper was also in attendance with his seven-year-old daughter Lea.

Elsewhere, Taylor Swift was seen cheering on her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

However, the hitmaker didn’t look too impressed when she realized the football crowd was booing her when she appeared on the big screen.
