Kelly Reilly, known for her role as Beth Dutton on the hit show Yellowstone, recently shared her thoughts on the character and her career in the hit film Yellowstone.
The 45-year-old actress confessed th at she doesn’t usually choose to play the same characters as Beth Dutton, and since taking on the role she has been offered numerous scripts for similar roles.
In an interview with Looper, the actress shared: “Obviously I played Beth Dutton and people liked it. So I’m flooded with very hot-tempered, strong, and violent types of women. But I don’t want to play that game again.”
Discussing the challenges she faced while filming Yellowstone, she recalled a scene where she had to film with real wolves.
“The crew said, don’t worry. We have these invisible ropes so if they jump at you it will trip them up.”
The Sherlock Holmes star said that although she was scared, she knew it would be good for the series so she went with it. She also added that her confidence grows with every season she shoots.
Reilly takes her privacy very seriously when it comes to her family life and she lives in the countryside to avoid public scrutiny. Despite this, the actress is very proud of her work in the television series Yellowstone.
“It is such a powerful thing to be a part of Yellowstone,” she said. People have accepted it as their program. I am really proud of that.”
