Reilly shared that they have been working together for years and have a “fun relationship.” She also praised the Draft Day star for his exceptional talent and his work, as she shared that she has learned a lot from him as well. She further stated,

“He’s honestly one of the nicest, most generous actors I’ve worked with. We get on so well and we have this real fun relationship—I just love what he does. I could watch him all day. I’m learning a lot from him.”

Reilly also suggested that she might be a bit old for getting any direct advice from her co-star, but she has still gained valuable insights by observing how he approaches scenes and holds his ground. “I admire his stillness as an actor,” she said, explaining that despite no formal lessons, she has learned a lot from Costner.

Kevin Costner Could Return to Yellowstone Finale

Since the release of the first half of Season 5, there have been specualtions surrounding Kevin Costner’s potential return as John Dutton for the series finale of Yellowstone. While nothing has been officially confirmed, recent reports suggest that the actor is planning on making a cameo appearance in the Western drama’s final episode.

Puck has reported that the Waterworld star has discussed his plans to return to the series finale. However, there are no concrete plans regarding that so far. Another report from US Weekly suggests that the showrunner Taylor Sheridan is exploring various storyline possibilities if Costner doesn’t come back.

“They’ve internally discussed going a couple different ways with the storyline if Kevin doesn’t return—[Cocreator Taylor Sheridan] could incorporate a big event to explain the disappearance, or there’s a calculative move to protect his family from an enemy.”

The showrunner and the actor have reportedly been at odds due to conflicting schedules and salary negotiations, as well as differences in creative vision. With the last season premiering in November 2022, fans anticipate the series finale to air two years later in November 2024.
