Blue Bloods season 14 is in full swing but when is the drama making a comeback for episode seven?
It’s a bittersweet feeling for NBC fans of the long-running family police drama as they were thrilled to see its return but saddened knowing it will soon be gone for good.
The show typically returns every September but thanks to the Hollywood strikes last year, Blue Bloods’ 14th series didn’t begin until February 2024.
Viewers had already been informed that this would be the last series, however, with the network making the disappointing announcement back in November.
With the season not even halfway through yet, there have already a couple of hiatuses.
When will Blue Bloods season 14 episode 7 air?
Blue Bloods was expected to air the seventh episode of its 14th series on Friday, April 19, on NBC, but a rerun was shown in its place.
Many US shows have been including scheduled breaks throughout their runs in order for them to finish around the same time they usually do if it wasn’t for last year’s strikes.
Blue Bloods is no different but thankfully, it is only a hiatus away from the small screen, with Blue Bloods season 14, episode seven, scheduled to air next week on Friday, April 26.
The upcoming instalment will be entitled On The Ropes and a brief synopsis has been released, teasing what’s to come.
It reads: “Jamie goes undercover with a deadly human trafficking ring.
“Danny and Baez investigate a homicide connected to Darryl Reid, Danny’s old partner.
“Frank grapples with whether to publicly support Mayor Chase on a policy decision.”
For the first time in the show’s history, Blue Bloods is going to be split into two parts.
Part one is going to consist of 10 episodes, wrapping up with the midseason finale on Friday, May 17.
