The second-to-last episode of season 14 of Blue Bloods is bringing in a big guest star and will be tying up a couple of story lines for the characters ahead of the show’s emotional series finale.

Blue Bloods season 14 episode 17 is named “Entitlement.” Yasmine Cadet and Daniel Truly wrote the penultimate episode, and Jackeline Tejada directed it.
“Eddie and Badillo try to help a man whose apartment has been taken over by a squatter who also happens to be Jamie’s confidential informant,” the show’s official synopsis says. “Also, Danny and Baez investigate when a star student is found dead in her dormitory; Frank suspects the governor has an agenda when he comes to him with a proposal; and Erin oversteps when she tries to play matchmaker for Anthony, on Blue Bloods.”
‘Blue Bloods’ Guest Star Is Announced
Amanda Kloots was announced as the guest star for the second-to-last episode of Blue Bloods season 14. Her late husband, Nick Cordero, previously appeared on the show as Victor Lugo from 2017 to 2018.

Photos From the Episode Were Released
Ahead of its air date, CBS released photos from the penultimate episode of Blue Bloods. In the photos, Amanda’s character is seen talking to Steve Schirripa’s Anthony Abetemarco and Bridget Moynahan’s Erin Reagan. When Will the Penultimate Episode of ‘Blue Bloods’ Air?
The episode will air on Friday, December 6, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. The week prior, fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at the show in the one-hour special Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy on November 29 at 9 p.m. ET.
The special “includes new exclusive interviews with the stars and recurring guest stars who share favorite memories and behind-the-scenes moments from the past 14 years,” per a CBS press release.
“The special serves as a love letter to the loyal fans who had dinner with the Reagan family every Friday night and upheld Blue Bloods as one of the top series on television,” the statement said.
The special will also include a sneak peek of the Blue Bloods series finale, which will air on December 13.
“Included in the show is a rare look inside the famous family dinner scene, where viewers learn family dinner secrets straight from the Reagans’ table,” the press release said. “The special reveals new details about the first time the cast had family dinner during the pilot when they were strangers, and how that transformed the series into the global phenomenon it is today. Also, fans hear first-hand from the cast about what it is like filming on the streets of New York City and get a sneak peek at the emotional finale prior to the series send-off.”
