Blue Bloods’ Danny Reagan Star Donnie Wahlberg Takes Iconic Dining Table From Cbs Set

A Blue Bloods star has spilled the beans on the keepsakes he snagged from the CBS set after the beloved series wrapped up following a 14-year run.

Fans of the longstanding police drama Blue Bloods were hooked on the show’s portrayal of the Reagan family, with the central character, New York police commissioner Frank Reagan (portrayed by Tom Selleck), anchoring the narrative.

Not only did the series delve into their individual personal and professional dramas, but it also brought viewers to Frank’s home each episode, where the Reagan clan convened around the dinner table to hash out the week’s happenings.

This family tradition became a hallmark of the show, culminating with the finale bringing the Reagans together at that iconic dining table one final time.

Yet, as the curtains closed on the set, Donnie Wahlberg, who played Danny Reagan, didn’t just walk away with memories.

In an interview with People, he revealed: “I really had no intention of taking anything from the set until I learned that that table and chairs was just sitting in a warehouse somewhere.”

The 55-year-old actor disclosed that fans will soon get a chance to sit at the actual Blue Bloods table and chairs as they make their way through various Wahlburgers eateries, which are co-owned by him and his brother, fellow actor Mark Wahlberg.

“I’ll set it up where fans can sit at the table and take pictures,” he stated. The first stop for the famed dining set will be the Wahlburgers location in St Charles, Illinois, where he and his spouse Jenny McCarthy live.

The Wahlbergers’ diners won’t be the final resting place for the Blue Bloods props, though.

The star further explained: “I’m going to raffle it probably for charity for the DEA, the Detectives Endowment Association, for the Widows and Children’s Fund.”

There hasn’t been any news yet about when the table and chairs will be auctioned off, but they’re sure to raise a hefty amount for the deserving cause.

In addition to the dining room set, Wahlberg also snagged a few of his character’s suits, which he plans to display on mannequins at Wahlberger’s.
