Possible spoiler for the final episodes of Blue Bloods ahead!

To Jan, Robin and anyone else who has emailed TVLine’s popular Inside Line column to ask about a long-awaited Blue Bloods moment, I come bearing (seemingly!) great news.

CBS‘ Blue Bloods resumes its farewell season on Friday, Oct. 18, and with just eight episodes left to air, some fans (including those named above) are wondering if the four Reagan cousins will ever appear in a scene together.

Will Hochman made his debut as Joe Hill late in Season 10, and has made a total of 19 appearances. But while the late Joe Reagan’s son has literally broken bread, at Sunday dinner, with Danny’s son Sean (played since Season 1 by Andrew Terraciano), not once has Joe crossed paths on-screen with Erin’s daughter Nicky or Danny’s older son Jack (played now and again by series vets Sami Gayle and Tony Terraciano).

Gayle and Tony Terraciano last appeared as Nicky and Jack in the Season 13 finale (as seen in the photo at top), and in the couple of years prior to that had only guested intermittently.

But as part of TVLine’s fall preview Q&A with Blue Bloods showrunner Kevin Wade, it was hinted that the four Reagan(/Hill) cousins will at long last unite, on-screen.

Hochman’s “Joe Hill is back and integral” during Blue Bloods‘ final salvo of episodes, Wade told TVLine, and viewers also will see “Nicky Reagan-Boyle and both of the boys (Sean and Jack).”

Whether that all adds up to Joe finally meeting Nicky and Jack, with cousin Sean also on hand, “will be answered in the final episode” (airing in December), Wade said with a wink.

Are you excited, Blue Bloods fans, at the prospect of the four cousins possibly, finally sharing a scene?
