We’re getting more details about the conclusion to Blue Bloods which is ending after 14 seasons. The series will wrap with the remaining two episodes of the 18-episode season beginning Friday, Dec. 6 and the previously announced finale date of Friday, Dec. 13.
The Talk co-host Amanda Kloots will guest star in the Dec. 6 episode titled “Entitlement.” In it, Eddie and Badillo try to help a man whose apartment has been taken over by a squatter who also happens to be Jamie’s confidential informant. Also, Danny and Baez investigate when a star student is found dead in her dormitory; Frank suspects the governor has an agenda when he comes to him with a proposal; and Erin oversteps when she tries to play matchmaker for Anthony.
The episode is written by Yasmine Cadet & Daniel Truly and directed by Jackeline Tejada.
In the Dec. 13 episode titled “End of Tour” it’s all hands on deck for the Reagan family, as they race to stop deadly mayhem in the city when the gangs of New York unite together to demand amnesty for the release of their imprisoned members and those awaiting trial. Edward James Olmos guests stars.
“End of Tour” is written by Siobhan Byrne O’Connor and Kevin Wade. Alex Zakrzewski directs.
Details of Kloots’ and Olmos’ characters are being kept under wraps.
Both remaining episodes will air 10 pm ET/PT on CBS and stream on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
As previously announced, a retrospective special, Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy, which will look back on 293 episodes of the beloved series, will precede the final two episodes and air on Friday, Nov. 29 at 9 pm (also live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).
The police procedural drama has been airing on CBS since September 24, 2010. Its main characters are members of the fictional Reagan family, an American Irish-Catholic family in New York City with a history of work in law enforcement.
