If you’re like us, you’ve been re-watching the first season of 1923 in anticipation of the dramatic, action-packed second season. Another thing you’ve likely pressed refresh on more than a few times? The 1923 season 2 trailer, which dropped earlier this week.

In the short clip, fans are treated to scene snippets of their favorite 1923 characters, including Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar), Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer), Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford), and Cara Dutton (Helen Mirren). They’re also given a sneak peek into the jaw-dropping drama that’s bound to ensue, with Donald Whitfield (Timothy Dalton) threatening to destroy everything the Duttons have fought for, and Spencer seemingly taking forever to get back to Montana.

There was one quick blip that caught fans’ attention perhaps more than anything else, though.

“Did we just see the origins of the TRAIN STATION,” one excited fan exclaimed in the trailer’s comments on Instagram. “Did we see a glimpse of the train station,” someone else questioned.

The scene fans are referring to is one in which three men are seen throwing a body into a gully. It’s hard to say whether this is truly the origin of the Dutton train station, though, as the next face that appears on screen is that of Banner Creighton (Jerome Flynn), making it look as though he was one of the men tossing the body, which wouldn’t make sense considering he’s an enemy of the Duttons, not in cahoots with them—unless of course, they join forces in season 2.

Suffice to say, we’re eager to learn more about the Dutton legacy and can’t wait to tune in. 1923 Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on Sunday, February 23.
